Les Gets (take 2) - this time in summer sunshine
I was in Liz photography heaven recently - as my sister in law described it - back to the Haute Savoie, this time for a summer flower photography workshop. It was fantastic to go back and enjoy the mountains again (without the snow this time!).
We had such an amazing five days in the French Alps - beautiful sunshine, vistas and meadows; great company, food and wine; and a chance to get out the macro lens and really go for it! Five days felt more like a week and then some. A truly relaxing holiday, where there was nothing to think about other than waking up in the morning, making sure the camera batteries were charged, and then concentrating on taking those photos! Thank you Lucilla, Jane, Rob and Julia for making it all seem so effortless and for really looking after us.
As this was a flower photography workshop, do consider this a warning: if you don't want to look at 130 photos of alpine flowers and views of Mont Blanc, then don't look in "Les Gets - 2012"!
I have also added a few images of battersea power station (in "spring/summer 2012") as I did an evening photography session there over the jubilee weekend. And yes Mum, it is still one of my favourite, contemporary buildings in London.
