Iguazu
A day at Iguazu falls has been one of the most fun so far i think. The falls were amazing - so powerful and large. A lot of the infrastructure that used to be there apparently was washed away in a flood in 1992 and the replacement paths are not quite as extensive. The whole park is run very efficiently though with many service buildings, food outlets, a train to take visitors to the farthest and most impressive of the falls. Only one fall is not accessible via boardwalk but Bri and i did the two hour walk through the jungle to see it anyway. ;)
We also went on the speedboats that take you right under some of the falls. We ended up completely drenched but were forewared so didnt bother with ponchos - we just wore quick drying clothes.
So again today we are back in Buenos Aires - our last day here. We spent it shopping and going to a tango show. And eating. We have done a lot of eating on this trip. the bakeries are great, the parillas always produce great steak (coming from someone who is not the greatest steak fan). And because dinner is not usually available until 9pm we end up doing as the locals do and having a pre-dinner snack.
Tomorrow we go to Rio....
