Oaty Choc-chip Cookies

Ingredients:
• 125g unsalted butter softened
• ½ cup caster sugar
• ½ firmly packed cup brown sugar
• ½ tspn vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 1¼ cups rolled oats
• 1 cup plain flour (You can use self-raising flour instead and omit soda and powder)
• ½ tspn bicarb soda
• ½ tspn baking powder
• ½ tspn salt
• 175g approx choc chips
• 150g approx hazelnuts roasted peeled and chopped
Recipe:
Heat oven 170°C, line 3 biscuit trays.
Beat butter and sugars until thick and pale.
Beat in egg until just combined.
(You can ½ melt the butter and beat these ingredients with a spoon – if you're too lazy to get the beaters out!!)
Fold in oats, flour, salt, chips, nuts.
Place spoonfuls of mix onto trays and flatten with fork.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden.
