Butterscotch Bikkies
{Tom's favorite- they last about 30 minutes.}
Ingredients:
125 grams butter
1 Tablespoon golden syrup
1 ¼ cups self raising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup brown sugar
100 g dark cooking chocolate
Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 150 °C. Combine butter, golen syrup, vanilla, and brown sugar. Beat well. Stir in flour until combined. Roll walnut-sized portions of the dough into spheres, then place them on the tray and push them down in the middle with your thumb to create a dent. Bake for 15-20 minutes, (until just firm enough around the edges), Allow biscuits to cool on a wire rack. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a microwave. Drizzle a small spoonful of melted chocolate to fill in the dents in the biscuits, and allow chocolate to harden. Eat!
