Once upon a time
Once upon a time, there were three happy travelers and everything was going according to plan until....
Heather and Alex get an email from Bren a day before he is due in DC with the news that his emergency passport has been rejected by US customs and he won't be allowed back in the country. And he is now on his way to London.
Now tell me, what is the point of an emergency passport if it doesn't work?!
After much indecision and lots of emailing, phone calling and anxious nail biting (on my part) Heather and I decide to change our flight and leave the US a couple days earlier.
Back we go to NYC determined to find some decent nightlife this time. And failing. Again. Perhaps that was for the best since people in our hostel said that cover charges could cost $50. Gulp. We saved money by getting lost and walking 600 street numbers in the wrong direction... in Harlem....at 2am. Oops.
We made it to London and were reunited with the third musketeer. Then we spent the next two days sleeping due to severe jet-lag. One night we went to a nightclub called TigerTiger. It just happened to be student night and cheap drinks (thumbs up). Unfortunately it was ridiculously crowded and the music was very ordinary (thumbs down). Last night we went to Camden and stumbled upon Dublin Castle pub where there was live music and yummy cider.
Today we finally did a little sightseeing: Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey (which is saw for free bcoz i snuck in, cackle). And now looking fwd to meeting up with a friend we made back in our first couple weeks in Argentina, so many months ago.
