Well, I've certainly been travelling around in the past month.
one week in Perth for the World Ultimate Club Championship and two weeks at the School of Military Engineering at Moorebank in Sydney.
The week in perth was nicer...
The standard of play at Worlds was fantastic and playing all five Japanese teams in the Men's division was a great experience. They have a very different style of play and I felt that I really picked up a lot from it. My team actually didn't play so well but hey, I don't have control over what other people do!
SME was slower paced. The lessons on search, minewarfare and demolitions were reasonably interesting but when we had down-time they wouldn't let us off base, so it was boring as hell.
As for my future travels, a few trips to Wagga to see Amy are planned and a trip to Melbourne for the Big Day Out is also happening.
